AZOMITE is a mined natural mineral product. For over sixty years, livestock and crop producers have utilized this unique material from central Utah to improve livestock and plant growth. Assays reveal that the material contains a broad spectrum of over 70 metabolically active minerals and trace elements. Azomite works to strengthen plants, increase yields and quality, reduce disease & pest problems, buffer heavy metals in the soil, improve drought resistance, and impart cold-hardiness.
Growers using Azomite on vegetables and fruit crops report larger fruit, more vegetables and those crops mature faster. The one area that farmers (using Azomite) all seem to talk about is the great taste the crops have in the first season of using Azomite. Growers have told of customers calling and asking, “What was done differently in growing because the oranges taste so much sweeter? “ They have wanted to make sure that whatever the grower did, just make sure to keep doing it.
AZOMITE requires no mixing. It is odorless, will not burn plants and will not restrict aeration or water penetration, unlike some products,
AZOMITE is not a manufactured, or a chemically prepared fertilizer. It is 100% natural with no additives, synthetics or fillers. Azomite is OMRI certified. Azomite is full of minerals that plants, animals and fish need and use.
Azomite comes from a hard rock formation formed from the dust of a volcano that exploded 1000 of years ago. Azomite's uniqueness stems from the multitude of trace minerals found in the deposit. The name comes from the large amount of minerals found in this product: AZOMITE, the "A to Z Of Minerals Including Trace Elements".
Law of the Minimum
The “father of fertilizer”, Justus von Liebig, developed the “Law of the Minimum” which is important in understanding what AZOMITE does. The law states that plant growth will be determined by the scarcest, “limiting” nutrient; if even one of the many required nutrients is deficient, the plant will not grow and produce at its optimum. Conventional fertilizer programs focus on major and minor plant foods like Nitrogen (N), Phosphorous (p), and Potassium (K) but do not address minerals. However, if one of the many essential trace elements or minerals is deficient in the soil, the plant will not perform at its optimum, affecting yield and immune function. AZOMITE contains rare and abundant trace elements present in volcanic ash in addition to rich minerals present in rivers – a unique combination found nowhere else on Earth.
Flowers, plants and vegetables can all benefit from the trace minerals in AZOMITE. Flowers produce brighter colors when they have all the minerals they need to function properly. Growers can see increased germination rates, improved yield, disease and pest resistance and better tasting vegetables. Without the correct nutritional requirements, plants cannot reach the level of health and production nature intended. Something will be lacking, be it color, health, premature death, post-harvest wilt, small heads, small fruit, or a vascular system that does not function correctly.
Azomite is sold in three different grinds, each offer the grower the opportunity to apply the same minerals in different ways. All Azomite is OMRI Listed.
Micronized - Ultra-fine powder (-200 mesh) excellent for coating seeds for maximum germination and initial growth. Good amendment for crops, compost and potting soil . Can be used in compost teas as a source of 70 different minerals

Slow- Release - Particle sizes ranging from 1/8” to powder for both rapid and longer-term results. Slow- release Azomite designed for use with (mixed/blended) with other products (fertilizers, compost) before broadcasting to improve application. This product produces substantial dust when applied by itself.
Granulated - Slow-Release agglomerated into easy to handle and apply granules with only a modest amount of dust. Moisture immediately breaks down granules; can be applied with a broadcast spreader. This is the most widely used Azomite of all of the mixes. All have the same minerals content but this is the easiest to spread.
